Connections Lounge

The Conference includes the Law Firm/Corporate Counsel Connections Lounge (“Connections Lounge”) which provides a unique networking platform and an additional opportunity for Corporate Counsel to meet with Law Firm Attorneys. During that time, one-on-one informational interviews are held to allow selected Law Firm Attorneys the opportunity to discuss the legal services they offer.

Registration for this portion of the Conference is not automatic.

Law Firm Attorneys

During registration, Law Firm Attorneys will indicate if they would like to participate in the Connections Lounge. Opting in allows them to provide information about their respective practice experience that will be reviewed by Corporate Counsel attendees and considered for an interview.
- A resume/bio will be requested.
  - The resume/bio should be on a letter-size page on one side only. Do not exceed one (1) page.
  - Submit the resume/bio ONLY by uploading it via the registration site. Submissions via U.S. mail, email, or fax will not be accepted.
  - All biographies must be received by January 5, 2026. Any biography received after the deadline will not be included.
If a Law Firm Attorney is selected for an informational interview, the specific time for the interview will be communicated before the conference.

PLEASE NOTE: Law Firm Attorneys are encouraged to attend the Connections Lounge even if they have not received a pre-selection interview. The Connections Lounge is intended to provide a forum to facilitate connections providing an opportunity for all attendees to meet, network, and explore potential opportunities. Beyond the Connections Lounge, the three-day Conference offers unparalleled opportunities for Law Firm Attorneys to meet Corporate Counsel attendees from numerous Fortune 1000 companies. Networking opportunities exist throughout the entire Conference, including the receptions, group breakfasts and lunches, and the golf and spa events. Law Firm Attorneys should take advantage of these great networking opportunities because they only present themselves in this manner once a year at the NBA-CLS Corporate Counsel Conference.

Corporate Counsel Attendees

Each corporation is required to conduct an informational interview with at least four (4) law firms to offset their complimentary registration.
After registration closes, Corporate Counsel Representatives will be able to view Law Firm Attorneys’ information for the interview process. Registered Corporate Counsel/Government Representatives will receive a link to access the information.

SPEAKING Opportunities

Opportunities to speak at the Conference are limited and very competitive. Only Law Firm Attorneys who are with law firms that sponsor the Conference will be considered as potential speakers. There is no sponsorship requirement for Corporate Counsel/Government Representatives selected to speak.

CORPORATE Dine-Arounds

The Corporate Dine-Arounds offer a unique opportunity for Corporate Counsel/Government Representatives to meet Law Firm Attorneys/Consultants and continue networking in a casual but intimate atmosphere during a dinner at one of several restaurants. The cost of the Dine-Arounds is “dutch treat” and is not included in the cost of registration. They will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026, after the Welcome Reception. Registrants should stay tuned for details about the Dine-Arounds and are encouraged to take advantage of this great marketing and networking opportunity.

NBA-CLS GOLF TOURNAMENT

8:00 a.m. (Shotgun Start)

This year’s golf tournament will be played at the Monarch Beach Golf Links, one of the premier golf courses in the Southern California area. Designed by renowned designer Robert Trent Jones, Jr. who modeled it in the traditional Scottish links style. With tight fairways, firm greens and striking scenery, the course is challenging yet playable. Named one of Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play” and a GOLF Magazine “Gold Medal Resort.”.
